She resides in Canton, ever since graduating from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. She served on the board of directors as treasurer and head of the finance committee for the YWCA of Canton for five years. She has also been a “Big Sister” mentor for 10 years for the Big Brother Big Sister organization.
